First Time Traveler

When I first finished college I went and got my passport right away. I know the world is a very large place and I planned on seeing as much of it as I could. Unfortunately there have been a lot of obstacles that have prevented me from traveling like I planned to. First I was injured in a ski accident then I lost my job so I could not afford to go anywhere. Now that everything is back in order I have decided to take my first trip. After some careful consideration I have decided that Thailand will be the first place that I visit. Seeing all of the beautiful places on The Travel Channel made that a very easy decision. Now I am trying to make some travel arrangements and I am not sure where to stay in Phuket. I will have to do some more searching because I want to be sure to make the right choice.

Travel & Living -Know the Laws

Travel & Living -Know The Laws

In travel & living -know the laws is good advice. Most countries have justice systems based on their political realities, which may or may not reflect our own.

In the article Travel & Living -Vacations there is a checklist for travelers bound for overseas. In that list is some precautions about knowing the laws of the country you will be visiting. There is a link that directs you to the U.S. State Department site that monitors current laws and customs in a large variety of countries. Read through the ones pertaining to the country you plan to visit.

That way, you will avoid the fate of some travelers who never bothered. For example, the way Turkey laws consider use of marihuana (jail time) is completely different than Dutch laws (tolerant).

So be informed and be safe. Always obey the laws.

If you do get into some situation with the local authorities, inform the local U.S. embassy for assistance. They may be able to help.

Pointers and Packing List for Vacation

People at times would really need some pointers and some useful packing list for vacation tips before they start packing their bags for their upcoming vacation. This is because sometimes, people can get too scared of a lot of things that they would think and try to bring almost everything there is that would be needed and possibly might be used for their trip. When this happens, they pack a lot of things in their bags and this can cause them to pay more when it comes to their airline fares and customs.

The key to a successful packing of one’s bags would be to pack only the really essential things that would be really used up during the vacation. Packing and bringing lots of stuff may only stress up one person especially if one would travel to a place where the most common public transport would be some subways and trains that are even crowded most of the time.

To be able to pack one’s luggage well, one should learn how to make a list of only those things that are important to bring. After making an initial list; before putting those things in the bags, one should double-check whether he would really need the item or he can do away with it. One should not forget that there are also shops in the place where he is going so if he is going to bring some everyday stuff, he might be better off bringing extra cash and just buying from the host country’s shops for the things that he needs.

Travel Light with an Independent Travel Asia

With an independent travel Asia arrangement; it would be wiser for travelers to travel light. In most Asian countries, the main public transport that they have for commuting would be the subway. These subways can get too crowded at times and traveling with a lot of luggage can be a big problem for travelers. This is one reason why it is a lot wiser to be able to travel light in these places especially if a person would be transferring and traveling around the country and would not just stay in a single city.

Another reason why it is better to travel light with these trips is that travelers would not want to bring a lot of things with them going to their trips. This would mean that they would not have enough space for bringing back some souvenirs and other memorabilia that they can get from those places. In traveling light, people will be able to have enough space to bring back more souvenirs.

There are also lots of clothes store that sell cheap clothing. If travelers need to have some change of clothing; they can just go to these cheap stores and buy good looking clothes from them. That way, they would not have to pack a lot of clothes which may not even be suitable for the kinds of weathers that those countries have.

It’s true that a business cannot be successful if its own work force do not know how to take care of their customers. The way to achieve this is by taking care of its own employees’ welfare first so they will take care of the customers. What goes around comes around. If you have satisfied employees, truly enough, you will gain their loyalty and they will even be inspired to work for you. Travelling A Tool For Education

Travelling has long been viewed as a necessity ever since the first means of transportation were invented, from horses, to donkeys, to caravans, and to the highly advanced airplanes and space shuttles, travelling has really become a need for most people. They need it to relax, to have fun, to release their inner frustrations, their stress, all of their inner feelings. But, unknown to most, travelling is also a great tool for education and learning.
When students go on field trips and visit other places, such as when Backpacking in Europe, they are given the chance to explore a new culture, a new race, and make new temporary friends that they may meet along the way. They also will be able to learn about the past events or the history of the said place that they are visiting, which makes travelling a really effective tool when it comes to learning and education.

Winter Backpacking

As an experienced backpacker, people often ask if it is possible to backpacking in Europe in the winter months. Will it be too cold? Does it just rain all the time? I always answer the same thing – You won’t get a sun tan but you certainly will have a great vacation.

Travelling in the winter months is not without it’s challenges. For a start the weather is colder so you have to pack much more clothing, which can be difficult for those that like to travel as lightweight as possible. The risk of snow and frosts also make backpacking in a tent impossible so you will have to budget for accommodation in hostels.

Be weary of venturing to Russia and further North in the Winter months, temperatures here regularly reach -40 degrees so unless you have the corect equipment can be very dangerous indeed.

Overall, it depends on your likes and fancies. Most European cities have fireworks shows in the winter so are well worth visiting
